Shawn

How sad is this, but at the same time it is pretty funny. Shawn, one of my closest friends son, got his head stuck under a playset and pinned by the sand. Love you Gretch !

The Red Bulls

It worked out this year, that Caden and Davin were able to play on the same soccer team. They are both on the "Red Bulls". We have tried to inspire the boys, and tell them that every goal they score we will pay them $10.00. We will see how much this season will cost us. So far Caden has scored 2 goals. It is so great seeing them playing together and passing the ball to each other. We are so excited to see how the season turns out. Go Caden and Davin !! Hopefully, they don't clean our bank account out too much!

"Freddy"

Erin and I have been trying to talk Slater out of "Froggie". "Froggie" is a nursery pulled, musical, stuffed animal that he has slept with ever since he slept in the crib. He has forever bonded with "Froggie". I thought is was time to graduate Slater onto a new mature cuddly creature. He created "Freddy" at Build a Bear.

Timeri and Slater

I took the Timeri and Slater to lunch at Mc Donalds. They were being very silly in the playzone. The best part was picking Caden and Davin up from school. Timeri and Slater were so excited to tell them where they went. Caden and Davin proceeded to tell me I didn't do anything for them when they were young. How easily they forget... I took them to Disneyland once a week.

Crush and Squirt

Papa Doug found two little box turtles in his back yard. Of course we had to adopt them. I absolutely love them. They are just adorable.
Since receiving them, Caden accidentally dropped one. It ended up dying. Now I am on night hawk watch with the kids, and htey are not allowed to touch the turtle.

EASTER at Auntie Dianes

After the church service we headed down to Auntie Diane's and Grandpa Don's home... getting there the traffic was horrendous. We finally made it. The kids swam alll day, and then Grammie Pam planned an Easter egg hunt for the kids, which they all loved to participate in. All the grand kids, including Bret and Lisa's kids, as well as Chloe's best friend Gabrielle were there. Happy Easter !!

HE is RISEN ! HE is RISEN in deed !!

Happy Easter !! What a great day to celebrate Jesus rising form the grave. Our day started with the kids waking up and finding what the Easter bunny left them and the traditional egg hunt. They were all very excited. I think Mr. Easter bunny was more excited the night before hiding all the eggs in the back yard at midnight. The kids were devouring all their goodies as Erin and I made breakfast. I love seeing the kids so excited and happy. It is such a wonderful time of the year, knowing that Jesus rose from his grave. After breakfast we went to church. The message was wonderful. Leaving church, I felt we were all very uplifted and felt the blessing from the sermon.
God is good. He loves us all !!

Decorating eggs

Here we are at the traditional egg dying day. The kids enjoy doing this. This year we bought crazy faces to put on the eggs. They turned out cute. Thank goodness Erin was home form work this day to enjoy the egg coloring. He is such a good daddy and husband. He works so hard for us. We all appreciate all he does for us. I love you babe !

The Reptile Store

Every week we make a trip to the "Reptile Store" to buy crickets for our bearded dragons that we have. This time the owner brought out their Nile Monitor Lizard. Timeri and Slater loved it.
