Creative Leap

My dad and I took the kids to an indoor play zone called "Creative Leap"that is near his house. The kids love going here. Anytime they spent the weekend with my parents, they always took them here. It has a huge climbing aparatus with a slide. The kids run all over form one area to the next. It is hard going to places that I know my mom loved to take the kids. She would have so much fun seeing how much they have changed. They love her dearly still, as I know she loves them just as much or more. Miss you mom !!

Wild Animal Park

We were off on another adventure. We went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park with Miss Peggy's preschool. We drove down with one of my special friends' Julie and her twin girls Alina and Eliana. It was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect...not too hot. The kids loved seeing all the animals. I think Slater's favorite was the monkey. Timeri wanted to pet all of the animals. Her favorite was the giraffe, especially because of the 2 week old baby. They both enjoyed the Meerkats. They knew a lot about them because of the report that Caden had just done in school. They had a great time in the petting zoo. Slater even became friends with one. The day was very enjoyable only going with the two.

Our bike ride with Joshua

I took the kids and their friend Joshua for a bike ride. We found an empty lot where an old farm once stood. The boys loved digging through the items left on the ground. They found everything from horse shoes to farming tools. My girlfriend Victoria was thrilled when we came home with all the items that Joshua wanted to keep. The look on her face was priceless..."Oh, thank you !" Joshua and Davin.

The unpredictable

The kids keep me constantly busy. I will be dealing with one and behind my back another one is doing something while the third is outside and the fourth is somewhere. The keep me on my toes. It seems they are all together or occasionally, they get into things individually. For instance, Caden coming down stairs and surprising me in Erin's turnouts. Too cute for words ! Then I was on the hunt to find Slater. He is my little Houdini. He vanishes as quick as a snap. Well I found him in the dryer ! Silly boy !

March Air Force Base

On another adventure that my dad had taken us to... March Air Force Base. It was really funny seeing the kids expressions when the loud fighter jets flew overhead.
Thanks Paka for a great time.

The boys and the "Dirt Jumps"

The boys love going to the dirt jumps to ride their bikes. They are daily asking if I will take them to the jumps. In time, I know they will be jumping the big jumps.
Here's Davin.

Corriganville Reginonal Park

This weekend when we traveled to my dads... he took us to Corriganville Regional Park. It was at one time a studio set for Tarzan and African Queen and various movies. Also, back in the day my Dad actually raced motorcycles through the streets of the sets, in actual dirt bike races. This day we went there with one of my Dads best friends Miran. It was fun. They explained to the kids about witched bres on the plants and how squirrels ate and stored acorns. It was a fun day and actually very educational for me. One picture of Caden in the scrapbook is actually in front of under water holes that were used to film Tarzen. The kids loved exploring and finding various items that they couldn't live without. Including, these black/blue beetles that were beautiful.

Sailing with Victoria

I had the privlidge to go sailing with my beautiful angelic friend Victoria. It was a very warm day. Unfortunately, there wasn't much wind. I had a fantastic time with Victoria. Just sailing around and talking. It was a great experience. I loved the escape I had and it was quite the bonding experience for Victoria and I. We had great deep thoughtful conversations. I have been so blessed by her friendship. Thank you Victoria !!
