From one rescue to another. Erin came home and found this injured bird in our front yard. He brought it in and put it in this box, gave it some food and water. The kids once again were really excited we were going to have possibly a new rescued animal. We had no intentions in keeping the bird. We truly thought maybe it would heal or once it felt better he would fly away or make a home in our back yard. Well, another one bit the dust. We looked in the box the in the morning and he was on his back with both feet in the air. Not a good look for little birdies.
