Spirit Day at school

The boys had a spirit day at school. Davin's class had to wear as much yellow as possible. Caden's class was blue. Davin's class won ! Some of the kids in his class even colored their hair yellow.

Our adventure at the park

Erin and I took the kids down the street to the park to look for bugs. Nice nose picking Timeri was doing. On our little adventure we found a swallows nest, lady bugs, grasshoppers and believe it or not a beaver. We looked down a water run off hole and there was a beaver... in Winchester !

Our anniversary

 
 
 

For our anniversary Erin and I went to Vegas. We stayed at the Palazzo in a swanky suite. It had beautiful views and we enjoyed the time we had there. We saw Love the musical... it was awesome. It was great to be alone with him... I think we missed the kids...haha

Corona del Mar tidepools

I love the beach ! I love taking the kids to the beach. I really enjoy taking them to beaches that have tidepools. They have a great time exploring. My favorite tidepool to go to is in Corona del Mar. I love the area and I can only pray that one day Erin and I can return to the area and live. When Erin and I were dating we would always come down here to do our own exploring, lay out or watch sunsets. I would also use this beach as my personal sanctuary. I would always go to this one rock and perch myself up on it and pray. This beach has quite the memories for us. On this praticular day Erin wasn't with us. He was at work. The kids and I made the best of it.

The Firestation

One of the kids most favorite things to do is visit daddy at work. The kids feel very, and sometimes, overly comfortable when they get on the firetruck. They open all comparments, climb on it, push buttons, open all doors...there is nothing they don't miss. I feel sorry for the guys after we leave, time to clean the firetruck. Erin is such a good dad, to just basically let them do what they want with the truck. I know all the kids and I, of course, are so proud of their daddy. He is a hero in all of our eyes. And we appreciate all the hard work he does for our family.

Easter

Erin is working in Easter Sunday, so the Easter bunny actual came to our house early and hid eggs. Erin is such a great dad and husband ! He works so hard for our family and does his best in not missing everything. That is why the bunny came to our house early. I took the boys to their basketball game and when we came home the kids found the eggs everywhere. Shortly, after we got home Erin...aka the Easter bunny walked in. After, we took them out to breakfast.

Discovery Science Museum

What an eventful time we had in OC. On our visit the transmission on the suburban decided to go out on us. We spent the night with Grammie and Papa while the car was fixed. We met Auntie Diane (aka great grandma) and cousin Zachary the next day at the Discovery science museum in Santa Ana. The kids were running everywhere, touching, grabbing and feeling everything there. It was a fun time.

Erin's day at school

Erin was able to go into Davin's class and talk about what he does for work. He brought in his turnouts and let the kids try them on. I know this was one of Davin's proudest days. He admires his daddy so much. He is the hero in all of our eyes. It was funny hearing the kids ask Erin the silliest questions.

Davin's 6th birthday

For Davin's 6th birthday we went to Disneyland for the week. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. It was a great time ! We were able to go to the park and then come back to the room and rest or change or even swim and then go back to the park. For Davin's birthday dinner we went to at the Rainforest Cafe in downtown Disney. I think we walked every square inch of both parks and rode almost rides. We also had a great time at the pool. The kids loved the waterslide. Every night the kids were exhausted... strangley when they got back to the room their energy resurfaced ! I would have to say that this was quite the birthday for Davin ! We all enjoyed celebrating his 6th birthday with him.

Perfect Attendance

Caden and Davin received an award for perfect attendance. YAY !!

Crazy hair day

The boys had a crazy hair day at school. They weren't to sure about participating in this event. They were good sports about it. However, their hair didn't come out as wild as I would have love to have done it.

Car wash

Well, I went to get gas and the kids begged me to go through the car wash. So, in we went. The unbelievable happened... The car was turned off with us inside of it. It totaaly stopped. I rolled down the window and took a picture. I had to use my cell phone to call information to get the phone number of the gas station. It was really funny. They answered their phone and I said "hi, I am calling from inside your car wash, and I am stuck". Thankfully, they were able to reset it or something. We survivied !

Chuckie Cheese

Well one of our favorite places to go to is Chuckie Cheese. This day I went with the kids by myself, because Erin was working hard for us..... well, I had my eyes on all the kids and then all of a sudden I was unable to find Slater. I searched everywhere for him. I was beginning to panic. Well, thankfully I found him... in the basketball machine. We had a great time.... until Chuckie came out. For some reason he is absolutely terrified of Chuckie. He does great with all other characters at Disneyland... but when Chuckie comes out he trembles. Thankfully, Caden was ther to console him. Caden is such a good brother.

Baby Jack

Playdate with our favorite friends

It is always very special when we get to see our bestest friends. The boys love Jack. Timeri and Lily are much like their mothers. WE LOVE EACHOTHER !! The kids have grown up with eachother. Lily and Timeri have been best friends since birth. This day we met at Lake Harveston Park for a lil' playdate. Jillian and Jihn actually came up to Temecula to look for a new house. I keep my fingers crossed that they will move back to the area. I love watching the kids play with eachother. They are all like brothers and sisters. They play great together and actually I think Caden and DAvin seem to teach Jack some bad habits...hahaha. I absolutely love spending time with Jillian. It is always a special day when I see her.

Wahoo's

 

Our family's absolute favorite place to eat is WAHOO'S. We are such regulars here that we have a few pictures of our family on the wall and they all know us by name. FYI...Erin and I love it so much, they actually catered our wedding.
Yummie !!! Erin was so good to me when I was pregnant with Davin. This is what I craved, he would ritually take me to
the Wahoo's in Costa Mesa. Erin has been going to Wahoo's since the very first one opened. Personally, I am a fan of the carne asada. Erin, Caden and Davin like the fish. Timeri and Slater are still enjoying the rice and beans. Good, good food !!!

Sea World

On another adventure to Sea World. For some reason, Timeri didn't get in any pictures. She was with us. The kids love going to Sea World. A few of their favorite things to do is feed the bat rays and hold the star fish. Tehy are also pretty impressed with the Shamu show. Caden was persistent on sitting in the front row. We told him he could but we would definatley be out of the splash zone. The pet show was another one of their favorites. If only Chanel could do tricks like these dogs. It was a cute show.

Bath time

We came home form the snow and they all wanted to take a bath together. I am sure glad that our kids love one another as much as they do.

Arrowhead

Our original plans were to take the kids to Arrowhead to go iceskating. There was an iceskating rink up there at one time. We drove right up to it and it wasn't there. It has been converted into a real estate office. So we made the best of it and played in the snow and then took them up to the toy store to pick something out. The kids had fun.
